Is it Summer yet?

I know that it is not quite summer yet, but it is certainly starting to feel like it outside right now in Mississippi.  So we are trying to find fun things to do outside before it gets so hot and sweltering that we just want to stay indoors with the AC. My friend Amy and I took our kiddos to My Big Back Yard in Memphis where the children ran free and played. It was great except that poor Carter got ill while we were there. She was a real trooper though, and I think they all had fun.

The sandbox was the big hit

Three pretty maids all in a row!

We are helping my sister and brother-in-law with a garden out at their house in the country. Well, I am not sure how much we are helping, mainly we just go out and watch them work, but they are letting us do that. I am really excited about it, we have tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, squash, zucchini, and okra in the ground. Lila also likes to "help" pull weeds and water. She also likes to pretend she is a pig and roll around in the mud.

We had a really nice Easter weekend. The weather was great and we were able to spend Sunday at my parents house. We enjoyed a picnic and the kids hunted eggs. I also want to mention how sweet my children are. They love each other and have so much fun goofing off together. The other day I was in the kitchen and they were in Lila's room. I heard them laughing and it went on for about 10 minutes, they were just giggling. I finally had to go see what it was all about. They had emptied out her sock and underware drawer and were throwing the contents back and forth at each other, they thought it was a hoot. I was just happy to see them having so much fun together.

The Rayner clan might as well move to Mexico....or at least brush up on our spanish. We just took our third trip in four months. This time we went to Cancun with the Holley family. We had a great time, the kids played really well together and we enjoyed spending some time with our SC friends.

Whoop Whoop! We are here!

And love each other

If only my eyes were open, this would be a perfect family pic!

Adios Mexico!
