Too Much Fun

I feel like our family is constantly on the go. I love it.  I would not have it any other way...you see, our family is always on the go because we have so many wonderful friends and family members to make memories with and share our lives with. We are fortunate.  Oh, there are days when I have to catch my breath, slow down, and tell myself that I am lucky.  There are definitely times that I feel rushed and I am late almost everywhere I go, but would I rather have it otherwise? I think not. I love my family, my friends and my scatterbrained busyness. Here are some memories from our busy last week.

My friend and hostess with the most-est, Liz invited us to a Valentine cookie and cupcake decorating party. She had homemade cookies, cupcakes, and frostings of several different types as well as many different kinds of toppings. She even outfitted all of the kids in colorful aprons. The children had a wonderful time and got their sugar high on, while the moms watched and snacked on delicious hors d'oeuvres.

Wednesdays mornings are always busy. James has physical therapy with Mrs. Sally and the we head to storytime at Square books to meet friends. We did spare a few minutes at breakfast time to take some pics.

We had our second big snow of the year this past Wednesday. We decided to get outside and play in our back yard with the Wilkes family.

 Yum! snow ice cream

Our girls are getting so big!

We had our friends, the Porters over for dinner and Lila, of course, was in the mood to dress up.  She then decided to dress up Olivia in one of her dance costumes.  These cute kids have so much fun together

About time for a new Rapunzel wig!

Lila and James' friends and first cousins Bess and Thomas shared a birthday party at Cloud 9.  They jumped, played, and ate cupcakes and ice cream. Everybody had fun!

 James says he digs cupcakes!

Big boy drinking out of this little straw. Yay James!

Lila's school had a Valentine party and the children decorated shoe boxes to hold their valentine goodies. They swapped stickers, cards, and candy.  I love her school. It is like a family because all the kids take care of each other and play together really well.

Today is Bradley's dad's birthday. Happy Birthday, Gaddy! We went to dinner last night at Palmers and had a fantastic time. Mary Morgan kept the kids at the Granthams' house and I feel lucky to have her as a babysitter. Plus Lila loves going to her cousins' house to play. It is nice getting together with our family!

Whew! It has been a busy week, but I'll say it again, I wouldn't have it any other way.
